Great bridge and interesting rock formations, are you able to walk on top of it and look down?

There is a road, I guess Route 11 runs on the bridge. You can walk only under the bridge.

Need to check this out. I have been to Natural Bridges National Monument in UT and not to this state park so close to home.

Reminds me of a trip we took to Natural Bridge in Kentucky. We were at the lodge and decided to walk up to the bridge. We reached a fork in the path, then decided to take the sign that said shortest distance to the natural bridge. A mistake because it was relatively straight up … therefore steep.

Great photo! We stopped there a couple of years ago while camping along Skyline Drive. We saw what is said to be George Washington’s initials that he chiseled in the rock under the bridge when he surveyed it. We walked all the way to the waterfalls at the end of the trail. We loved the place.
