Oak Island Lighthouse

Want a simple beach trip with some history and fun? Oak Island is the right place! Oak Island, a barrier island south of Wilmington, North Carolina,  shares Brunswick County with Caswell Beach and rests between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Oak Island is a charming seaside town known for its over 60 public access sun-kissed scenic beaches and rich history.

Our visit was highlighted by a trip to the iconic Oak Island Lighthouse followed by a relaxing walk along the boardwalk leading to the beach. The snapshots captured are mementos from our brief visit at the lighthouse on 30th March, 2024.
