Alcázar de Segovia: A Medieval Marvel


A visit to the Alcázar de Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is like stepping into a fairytale. This stunning medieval castle, nestled on a rocky cliff in the Spanish city of Segovia, features towering spires and imposing walls, surrounded by serene countryside, making it a favorite destination for every tourist.

The Alcázar de Segovia is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Spain and has been featured in many films and television shows, including ‘Game of Thrones”. The castle offers various grand rooms and chambers, beautiful gardens, and stunning views of the city of Segovia and the beautiful countryside.

Located just a short distance from the Spanish capital, Madrid, the Alcázar de Segovia’s easy accessibility makes it a popular choice for tourists. We opted for a convenient tour bus from Madrid and captured these photos during our visit on June 18, 2024.
