This section of Iceland’s Ring Road takes you along the spectacular South Coast, where the landscape quickly transforms into a stunning mix of waterfalls, glaciers, lava fields, black sand beaches, and vast volcanic plains.
This route is packed with iconic sights, and best of all, nearly every attraction is located just off Ring Road (Route 1), making this an easy and incredibly scenic drive before arriving in the charming village of Vík.
