A Road Through Another World: Skeiðarársandur Black Sand Plains, Iceland

Location: Ring Road (Route 1), across the Skeiðarársandur outwash plain, near Lómagnúpur, about 30 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, in the South Iceland region of Iceland.
