Mýrdalsjökull Glacier on the Horizon, South Iceland’s Lava Fields

Location: Ring Road (Route 1), about 25 km east of the charming town of  Vik, in the South Iceland region of Iceland.

Time and Date: Around 8:30 am on June 20, 2025.

Our Visit: Vík and Iceland’s South Coast – Scenic Drive Along Route 1.
