It’s a peaceful spot in the lovely town of Duck, North Carolina, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Currituck Sound and really appreciate the natural beauty of the coast.
This scenic boardwalk winds through beautiful woods, salt marshes, and offers stunning views of Currituck Sound, calming along with nature’s beautiful soundtrack of birds chirping, leaves whispering, and water clapping. It’s a peaceful, easy place to wander and capture some gorgeous photos, especially during golden hour. In short, it’s the perfect spot to chill, breathe, and soak in the natural beauty of the Outer Banks.
I wanted to share some photos from a wonderful walk we took on the boardwalk on New Year’s Eve, 2024. The weather was cool, with the sun peeking through the clouds now and then, adding a little extra magic to the peaceful vibe.
